The disciples were in a terrifying storm in a boat.
Thankfully, the Lord was there too, and when He spoke a word, "Peace", everything changed.
Their statement following the incident gripped me today.
"What kind of a man is this, that EVEN the winds and the sea obey Him?"
Matthew 8:27

I recently stood at a raging sea. (See pictures)
The wind and the surf were so loud, we had to yell at each other to be heard.
It was an awesome experience!
It was overwhelming!
It gave me a sense of what the disciples were talking about!
EVEN these winds and the sea and the raging obey Him! WOW!
(They didn't understand He is the creator and sustainer of all things!)

This is such a beautiful picture of life!
We all encounter storms,
raging,
terrifying,
outside of our control...

This word is an encouragement for us.
EVEN this... He controls!

It's true for you and me today! That makes me glad!!!!
