Home Laura Updates Our Ambulance Ride

I haven't updated you on mom's health because she has been pretty level and seemed to do quite well. This update is because Friday she had and incident.

I don't quite know what to call it. She didn't black out like other times. From the moment she got up she was acting unusual, not like herself. The hairdresser came and was in the process of doing her hair. She was under the hair dyer, which is where these events happen often, and she started muttering and falling over in her chair. Karen and I lowered her to the floor, hit lifeline and got the ambulance here. In the mean time her eyes were rolling back into her head and it was all quite scary. Unlike other times, she didn't snap right out of it. She was still confused halfway to the hospital and then suddenly was totally with it again. They ran tests and sent her home. Her pacemaker is working and blood work was all fine. So, we are home. She's very happy to not have to stay there! Their guess was that she had a TIA. Who knows. Well, God knows and we rest in Him.

Thanks for praying and caring for mumsy. Please keep those prayers coming in! Love to all! I will update as things happen!

Pray for me as I make decisions related to mom. I think we are going to have to change the whole hairdo routine, which will be very difficult for her. We always joke, heaven and earth can pass away but she always has her hair done on Friday! :)
