Now that the holidays are over, mumsy is doing a lot of catching up on her sleep.
Whew, we wore her out with all the action!
The good news is that she is physically stronger. I'm not having to help her get dressed as much as I was, or help her with a lot of little things that you and I take for granted. The bad news is, this creates more opportunities for her to get into trouble. She thinks she can do it all and then finds out she can't. To add to the trouble, she is not able to remember things as well, so I need to keep reminding her and directing her. These are marked changes in the past week resulting in my actually leaving her for a few hours at a time. This is the first time she's been alone since the pacemaker incertion in over three months. I think she enjoys just being able to sleep without other commotion in her home and I have enjoyed getting some major organizing done at my home.
I'm thankful for so many things with mom...
Her continuing good spirit... everything is wonderful!
That God put us in this building together so I could care for her.
That God provides relief for me just when I think I will fall apart.
For the many helpers God provides!
That Craig and I are doing this together... I realized the other day that all our lives we've worked as a team doing many things and this is just another one of those projects that God has given us to fulfill! This gave me a great new perspective!
Thanks for praying and caring for mumsy!
